Kinesis Class Descriptions

EXPERIENCE

This complimentary class is a 30-minute demonstration of the movement revolution, Kinesis. Participation in a Kinesis EXPERIENCE session is strongly encouraged before attending other classes. All levels are welcome.

The following Kinesis sessions are fee based. Space is limited to a maximum of 5 participants. All reservations must be made prior to the class at the Member Services desk. 30-Minute Private and Duo session are also available on a by-appointment basis. KINESIS ENDURANCE

The complete Movement Revolution experience, includes total body strength training and conditioning, core workout and stretch.    

KINESIS EXPRESS

This 30-minute session will provide you with a total body conditioning experience. Training with Kinesis, when compared to traditional strength training, can burn up to 33% more calories! All levels are welcome.

KINESIS TABATA STYLE

This Kinesis session is 30 minutes of advanced interval training including a cycle of 20 seconds of maximum intensity exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated without pause EIGHT times – for a total of four minutes. This training protocol was introduced by Dr. Izumi Tabata. "Tabata will raise your metabolic rate long after the exercise session is completed and you'll continue to burn fat throughout the day. Studies have shown that this after-effect is far more effective for fat loss than a low intensity, continuous cardio routine such as jogging."
